The Mississippi Bar Association - 7 Alternative Dispute Resolution

The mission of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section is to promote the informed use of ADR procedures where alternatives are appropriate; to provide continuing ADR education with seminars and publications; to update the MS Bar Website with ADR Rules and Procedure on a timely basis; to draft a MS Code of Ethics for mediators; to establish a pilot program in Chancery Court Districts for the mediation of cases between parties of low income with the use of funds made available by private donation.

The Family Law Mediation Pilot Program sponsored by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section will provide modified pro-bono mediation services through July 31, 2005.
