The Health Law Section of the MS Bar recently awarded a scholarship to Kate Steiner a 2L at Mississippi College Law School. Cheryn Baker, Chair of the Health Law Section presented the award at MC Law School’s Law Day held on April 18 in Jackson, MS. MS Steiner was recognized for her efforts in taking a Health Law class taught by Dr. Joe Blackston and Dr. Philip Meredith this past summer. In addition she has completed an externship with the MS Medical and Dental Licensure Boards. Attached is a photograph of Cheryn Baker and Kate Steiner from the presentation and an acknowledgement letter from MS. Steiner.
