Qualifications

The qualifications to become included on The Mississippi Bar's Mediator Directory are as follows:

• You must take an initial course of at least 14 hours of mediation related training, approved by the Court Annexed Mediation Committee or the Commission on Continuing Legal Education.
• You need to fill out the directory application, attach your training completion certificate and mail in with your list fee to The Mississippi Bar, Attention Mediation Directory.
• You must recertify and pay $50 annually to remain on the list.
• You will need to take an additional 6 hours of continuing education every 2 years in order to remain listed on the directory.  Please turn in the application along with your list maintenance fee every two years, certifying your additional 6 hours of CLE credit.
