Prosecutors
The Prosecutors section was formed to assemble a framework within the Bar for prosecutors to exchange information related to the practice of criminal law. In addition, it strives to provide opportunities for its members to increase their knowledge in the field of prosecution through the publication of newsletters, featured speakers during Section meetings and seminars, and lobbies for essential legislation concerning criminal law prosecution.
Prosecutors Section presents "Anatomy of a Trial"
- Friday, June 7 - Jackson
The Prosecutors Section of The Mississippi Bar is pleased to
announce its first Prosecutors Section sponsored CLE Seminar,
"Anatomy of a Trial," to be held on Friday, June 7, 2013. The event
will take place at the Mississippi Bar Center at 643 North State
Street in Jackson. This 6 hour CLE seminar will include 1 hour of
ethics and will cover important topics pertaining to the
fundamentals of successful trial litigation. The day will feature
some of the very best Mississippi Prosecutors sharing their
knowledge and expertise in trial preparation and techniques. The
combined years of litigation experience represented by the panel
will make this an exemplary and practical learning experience for
