The Administrative Law and Workers' Compensation Section helps its members keep abreast of developments in this rapidly growing area of legal practice. This section is composed of attorneys who practice in the areas of unemployment compensation, social security, and workers compensation. This Section regularly publishes newsletters.
Bar Hosts the 2013 Section Orientation Session
Over 50 new Section Officers attended the FY 2013-2014 Orientation Session in August 2013. The half-day program is designed to familiarize new Section leaders with their duties and brief them on resources available to them through the Bar. This year's session included an overview by MS Bar President Guy Mitchell.

Kids' Chance of Mississippi is a scholarship fund established by the Mississippi Bar Foundation under the Administrative Law and Workers' Compensation Section of the Mississippi Bar to provide scholarships for children who have had a parent killed or permanently and totally disabled on the job. Kids' Chance of Mississippi provides scholarships for students to attend vocational/technical school or college. The fund brings together all those involved in workers' compensation issues: the legal, medical and business communities.
