"Advancing Hope, Restoring Justice" - Join MVLP's Fundraising Campaign
In 2010, MVLP began a fundraising campaign to increase the
number of volunteer lawyers statewide, boost the number of legal
clinics to match volunteer lawyers with pro bono clients, ensure
that small fees do not impede legal actions, provide outreach, and
support operations of MVLP. The current campaign, "Advancing
Hope, Restoring Justice" is led by former Mississippi Bar President
and Oxford attorney, Nina Stubblefield Tollison, and Jackson
attorney Jody Owens, II. The fundraising goal is $75,000. The
following giving levels have been established: Kryptonite/Super
Hero - $5000 or more, Titanium - $2500-$4999, Platinum -
$1000-$2499, Gold - $500-$999, Silver - $250-$499, and Bronze -
$50-$249. MVLP relies on the generosity of donors to help connect
low-income clients with volunteer attorneys who will fight for
their rights. Donations can be made through PayPal, a
completely secure, fast and convenient way to make a difference or
by mail at directly to MVLP at 921 N. President Street, Suite A,
