New and Improved 'Find a Lawyer' Directory
The Bar and the Mississippi Supreme Court's Access to Justice Commission have partnered to address the needs of the public in locating lawyers to address their legal needs. The Bar receives calls each day from the public requesting referrals and before now has been unable to provide meaningful assistance. Based upon the recommendation of the Technology Committee and the approval of the Board of Commissioners, the management of the lawyer directory has been transitioned to ReliaGuide®, a leading provider of legal services platforms. The public can now search by practice area, location, and even those that are willing to accept modest means representation. This platform also provides the opportunity for our members to enhance their profile in the member directory by adding their areas of practice, a photo, a biography and more to improve visibility for both client leads and referrals.  In addition, it does not have the incomplete search results that were problematic with the previous directory. To learn more, click here.
