In conjunction with Law Day USA on May 1, 2019, The Mississippi Bar is conducting their 17th annual statewide Law Day Art Contest. The theme for this year’s Law Day Art Contest is: “Free Speech, Free Press, Free Society.” Entries are now being accepted until April 1, 2019 and all students grades K-12 across the state are invited to enter. Winners will be selected from every school per grade, and from those winners a first and second place will be awarded overall for the state for each grade. Statewide winners will be presented with award certificates, their artwork will be displayed in the Capitol during Law Week, April 29 - May 3, and also presented in the summer issue of The Mississippi Lawyer magazine.
