expectations in writing is a meaningful step toward responsible innovation. AI will continue evolving. While our ethical rules do not contemplate AI usage, they still govern it: lawyers still have to supervise, review, protect, and disclose. A simple policy makes it easier to do all of that (and to prove you are actually doing it). Not to mention, lawyers who take the time to learn these tools now and build a responsible structure around them, will not only reduce risk but will also gain a real strategic edge. As I often say: AI will not replace lawyers, but lawyers who can effectively leverage AI will outpace the ones who don%u2019t. The Legal Practice Management and Technology Committee is continuing to provide updates and practical tips on AI and other topics through Bar Briefs, so be sure to watch those for timely guidance. Our next article in this series will focus on how to begin using AI tools responsibly, not just by drafting policies, but by operationalizing them in your day-to-day practice.P.S.
