earned an undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University. Husband then earned a Juris Doctorate from Tulane University School of Law and was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1987. He began as a judicial law clerk to Judge Simon in the U.S. District Court in Louisiana, moved to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, to practice law at De Vos and Company, and then worked as senior litigator at the Law Offices of Joel W. Marsh. Husband moved to Washington, DC, in 1988. After working at DC Health and Hospitals Public Benefit Corp., he joined the DC Department of Health and worked there for 23 years - as General Counsel for 12.KATHERINE V. KEMPKatherine V. Kemp, 52, of Jacksonville, Florida, died July 7, 2025. After earning a graduate degree from Millsaps College, she earned a Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law and was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 2001. JOHN MARSHALL LUSK, JR.John Marshall Lusk, Jr., 86, of Jackson, died October 12, 2025. He earned an undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University. Lusk earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he was vice president of the student body. He was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1970. Lusk practiced law privately and throughout his career was an assistant attorney general, chief of staff for a U.S. Congressman, an attorney for the Mississippi Oil and Gas Board, and was an adjunct professor for the Mississippi College School of Law. EILEEN M. MAHEREileen M. Maher, 69, of Natchez, died August 31, 2025. She earned two undergraduate degrees and a master%u2019s degree from Boston College. Maher then earned a master%u2019s degree from Elms College. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Western New England University Law School and was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1995. Later, she earned a bachelor%u2019s degree in nursing from Alcorn State University in 2014 and went on to earn a master%u2019s degree from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in 2017. Maher practiced family and criminal law beginning in 1995. From 2017-2024, she served as a Justice Court Judge for the Southern District of Adams County.ROGER KEITH MEAGHERRoger Keith Meagher, 72, of Coppell, Texas, died May 19, 2025. After earning an undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University, he earned a Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law and was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1980. Meagher worked in private practice before becoming corporate counsel for the Federal Land Bank in New Orleans, Louisiana. He later worked for the FDIC and RTC and after obtaining his Texas law license, spent his final career years as in-house counsel for Metromedia Restaurant Group and Sally Beauty Supply. He worked in Mississippi and Texas where he later retired.DANIEL J. MULHOLLANDDaniel J. Mulholland, 65, of Madison, died November 16, 2025. After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, he earned the award for Highest Scholastic Average in Law School Class, was on Mississippi Law Journal Editorial Board, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi. Mulholland was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1985 and held law licenses in Michigan, Arkansas, and Louisiana. He worked as an attorney at Jackson-based Forman Watkins & Krutz, LLP beginning in 1986 and he litigated complex mass tort, MLD, and class action suits. Mulholland was recognized on the list of Mid-South Lawyers in 2023. He appeared on The Best Lawyers in America 2010-2026 for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions - Defendants, for Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants, and for Product Liability Litigation %u2013 Defendants. He received a Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished Peer Review Rating. Mulholland was an American Bar Association member. His actions led the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to award Forman Watkins the Institute for Legal Reforms%u2019 Award for Outstanding Organization. THOMAS Y. PAGEThomas Y. Page, 72, of Flowood, died October 22, 2025. He earned an undergraduate degree from Mississippi State University, then earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Page was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1979. He practiced insurance defense law, eventually co-founding Page, Kruger and Holland, where he earned an AV Preeminent rating from MartindaleHubbell. Recognized as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation in 2010, Page later served as Foundation President 2016-2017. Page served his country as a Judge Advocate General officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring as a lieutenant colonel after 30 years of service. JOHN GORDON ROACH, JR.John Gordon Roach, Jr., 87, of Madison, died October 22, 2025. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi. After graduation, Roach was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy and served on active duty on the aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk. Subsequently, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law and was admitted to The Mississippi Bar in 1964. Roach remained in the Naval Reserve until he returned to McComb to practice law with his father in the firm of Roach & Roach. He practiced law in McComb for more than 50 years and was active in civic affairs. Roach was a past president of the Tri-County Bar Association. Locally, he was a McComb Municipal Judge, County Prosecuting Attorney, and attorney for the Pike County Development Foundation, the North Pike School District, and Southwest Mississippi Hospital. Roach was a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. Roach served on the Mississippi Board of Bar Commissioners and was inducted as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation in 1983.IN MEMORIAM40 WINTER 2026
